Armor

Weapons

Jewels
Jewels can be used to boost the effectiveness of a skill or provide additional effects in armor and weapons. However, you can only replace the jewels in an item upgrade of equipment once.

The first trinket that a player can unlock is the cloak. It grants a small but beneficial boost in movement speed and evasion. This is particularly true if an item has multiple stats that you'd like to upgrade as it's usually better to upgrade a single crucial stat than two subpar ones.
In the beginning of the game, junglers will usually want to upgrade their trinket to a red, while top and middle players typically choose the pink or green ward (depending on the game's matchup). These choices can affect the hero's ability to manage the map.
Aside from the items mentioned above, players may also find a number of other items in the form of trophies and awards. These can be obtained by completing certain milestones within the story.
